Steps to Take an Exam

Download RPNow, a proctoring software.

You should have gotten a link to the software in the welcome email sent to you after purchasing your course.

If you did not yet purchase your course you can do so below.

RPNow will prompt you to take a picture of your photo ID and have you scan your room clearly.

RPNow will forward you to the CIS Online testing site to take your exam. You can find your Username and Password in the email you received after purchasing your course.

RPNow will continue to record your desktop and environment for the duration of the exam.

We will review the recording to ensure that there were no rule violation

Please read the exam rules carefully, as a violation of any of the rules will cause your exam to be disqualified.

  • You must show a slow, clear scan of your room and tabletop showing that all surfaces are completely clear
  • You must be clearly visible to the camera at all times. Make sure your eyes are on the computer for the duration of the exam.
  • You may not have anything with you during the exam – that includes books, phones, food, keys etc. All exams are close book.
  • You may not use any other computer program while taking your exam (word, excel, calculator etc.)
  • You may not leave your seat during the exam. Please see to use the restroom beforehand.
  • You may not share the contents of the exam with anyone.
